The KAS model focuses on
providing hosting and all software for managing
corporate memory, which refers to the internal
information of an organization of value for re-use, and
the Knowledge Store, the body of knowledge of value to
members of a community of practice. While utilizing
records management principles for corporate memory and
library principles for the Knowledge Store, we provide
archival services to identify what, if any, information
is of permanent value and transfer these to the
appropriate archival facility. In the case of the
federal government, this information is transferred to
NARA.
How we do this
All
information is managed in a digital format to create
efficiencies across an organization. Where needed, we
can convert your legacy documents into digital formats
and work with you to transform current practice into
technology-leveraged applications. KAS provides
robust services, hosted off-site, letting clients focus
on their data using KAS-managed technology systems.
From our
extensive background in applying appropriate technology
to records management, we have been able to work with
clients and bridge the gaps between best practices,
workflow and project management all in harmonized,
cost-efficient solutions. We focus on
strong customer service integration to deliver solutions
that are versatile and answer the “What’s in it for me”
question all users pose before adoption.
